The Creepy Craw is a crawfish bait built to look alive on the bottom. A ribbed, segmented body and a full skirt of thin curling legs give it the look of a craw crawling over rock and wood. Every leg moves on its own, even sitting still on the pause, so bass get a long look at something that won't stop twitching.
Each Creepy Craw is hand-packed in Peoria, Illinois. The translucent plastic is loaded with flake that catches light in clear and stained water.
Colors
- Crawdaddy: natural brown craw. Your everyday color for rock, riprap and wood.
- Bushcraw: green with blue flake. Matches grass, weed edges and green water.
- Bloodcraw: red craw. Built for spring and stained water, when craws turn red.
How to fish it
- Drag it slowly across the bottom and let it sit. Most bites come on the pause while the legs keep moving.
- Hop it off rock, wood and dock posts so it falls like a craw scooting away.
- Rig it Texas-style weedless, on a jig head, or as a jig trailer.
