All legs. All motion.
Why bass eat it
Crawfish are one of the main things bass eat, all year long. The Creepy Craw gives them the shape and color of a real craw crawling across the bottom.
The ribbed, segmented body looks like a craw's tail, and the translucent plastic is loaded with flake that catches light in clear and stained water.
How it moves
A full skirt of thin legs flares and curls with every hop and drag. When you stop, the legs keep twitching, so bass get a long look at something alive.
Fish it slow on the bottom around rock, riprap, wood, grass and dock posts.
Three colors
Crawdaddy
Natural brown craw for rock, riprap and wood.
Bushcraw
Green with blue flake for grass, weed edges and green water.
Bloodcraw
Red craw for spring and stained water.
Rigging
Three ways to fish it
- Texas rigRock, wood and grassRig it weedless on a wide-gap hook with a light bullet weight. Drag it slowly over the bottom, then let it sit. Most bites come on the pause while the legs keep moving.
- Jig headHop it off the bottomThread it on a football or finesse jig head and hop it off rock, riprap and dock posts so it falls like a craw scooting away.
- Jig trailerBulk up a jigPin it on the back of a jig for a bigger craw profile with a full skirt of moving legs.
